Manuscript Submission and Publication Process
Steps for Submission and Publication:
Step 1: Prepare Your Manuscript
Prepare your manuscript in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format following the TRBJMR Author Guidelines. The manuscript should include essential sections such as:
* Title
* Abstract
* Keywords
* Introduction
* Objective of Study
* Literature Review
* Research Methodology
* Results and Discussion
* Conclusion
* References
Ensure that the manuscript is formatted according to the journal's prescribed template and consider the following points;
* Author/s details (name, status, affiliation, sequence etc.) should be mentioned carefully, as its cannot be changed after the submission.
* The recommended length of a manuscript is around 6,000 words (between 5500 - 6500 words) (including all notes, references, tables and appendices).
* Abstract length should be around 150 words and keywords around 4 to 5 words.
* Manuscript should not have more than 4 authors.
* Manuscript should be thoroughly proofread and checked for spellings and grammar.
* Wherever required, permission must be obtained for the use of ‘Copyrighted material’ from other sources. (like any Text, Quotation, Table, Figure, Charts, Image etc.)
* Every Table or Figure must have Numbering, Heading and Source.Figure must be provided in an Editable or High quality figure (only in case where editable figure is not possible).
* Table should always be in an editable format; not in a picture format.
* Table numbering should follow a pattern like Table 1, Table 2, Table 3 … so on, (and not any other form such as as Table 1.1 or Table 1.1.1 etc.)
* Figure numbering should follow a pattern like Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3 … so on, (and not as Figure 1.1 or Figure 1.1.1 etc.)
* Always use the word ‘Figure’ for images, charts, graphs or any other graphics used in the manuscript.
* Provide the Source or Reference for any ‘Quotation’ from other sources directly given in the manuscript.
Step 2: Submit Your Manuscript
Authors may submit their manuscript through either of the following methods:
* Online Submission: Login to the Author Dashboard using the link: https://trbpublications.in/auth/author-login
* Email Submission: Send your manuscript to: editor.trbjmr@gmail.com
Note: Only manuscripts prepared in MS Word format will be accepted.
Step 3: Submission Acknowledgement
After successful submission, the corresponding author will receive an acknowledgement email confirming the receipt of the manuscript.
Step 4: Editorial Screening
The Editorial Office will conduct an initial screening to verify that the manuscript complies with the journal's aims, scope, ethical policies, plagiarism standards, formatting requirements, and submission guidelines. Manuscripts failing to meet these requirements may be returned for revision or declined.
Step 5: Double-Blind Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts are forwarded to subject experts for a Double-Blind Peer Review, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential to ensure an unbiased and transparent evaluation process.
Each manuscript is evaluated on a 10-point assessment framework based on the following criteria:
* Relevance of the Title and Research Content
* Originality and Novel Contribution
* Research Methodology and Technical Accuracy
* Quality of Literature Review
* Theoretical and Practical Significance
* Organization and Logical Flow of the Manuscript
* Quality of Data Analysis and Interpretation
* Clarity of Writing and Presentation
* Quality and Authenticity of References
* Strength of Conclusions and Future Research Scope
Step 6: Review Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may take one of the following decisions:
* Accept
* Accept with Minor Revisions
* Accept with Major Revisions
* Reject
Note: Generally, the review process is completed within 2–7 working days, depending on reviewer availability.
Step 7: Acceptance Notification
Once the manuscript is accepted, the corresponding author will receive an Official Acceptance Letter via email.
Step 8: Copyright Declaration
Authors will be required to complete and submit the Copyright Declaration Form and Author Undertaking Form before publication, confirming the originality of the manuscript and granting publication rights to the journal.
Step 9: Publication Processing
After verification of all required documents and completion of publication formalities, the manuscript will be processed for publication in the assigned issue of the journal.
Special Note: For Volume 1, Issue 1, 100% Article Processing Charge (APC) Waiver is applicable for all accepted manuscripts submitted within the announced deadline.
Step 10: Online Publication and Author Certificate
The published article will be made available on the TRB Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (TRBJMR) website with complete bibliographic details. The corresponding author will receive:
-Publication Notification Email
-E-Certificate of Publication (for all authors)
-Article PDF
-Citation Details for future reference

Article Processing Charges (APC)
Article Processing Charge (APC): ₹950/- per Accepted Manuscript and such amount will be paid after the acceptance of the manuscript.
The APC includes the following services:
* Comprehensive manuscript formatting and professional editing as per the journal's publication standards.
* Double-blind peer review management and editorial processing.
* Online publication of the accepted research article with unlimited pages and no restriction on digital file size.
* Assignment of publication details and permanent online hosting for long-term accessibility.
* Digital E-Certificate of Publication for all authors.
* Submission of published articles to relevant indexing and abstracting databases, subject to eligibility and indexing policies.
* Basic plagiarism screening and quality assurance checks.
* Complete author support throughout the submission, review, publication, and post-publication process via email and other communication channels.
* Administrative, technical, website maintenance, and digital archiving expenses related to journal publication.
Publication Ethics
* Originality: Authors must submit only original, unpublished work that is not under consideration by any other journal or publisher.
* Plagiarism Policy: All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with significant plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or unauthorized use of copyrighted material will be rejected immediately.
* AI-Generated Content: Authors may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools only for language improvement or editorial assistance. AI tools must not be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and authenticity of all submitted content. Any substantial use of AI should be appropriately disclosed in the manuscript.
* Research Integrity: Authors must present accurate data, genuine results, and honest interpretations without fabrication, falsification, or manipulation.
* Multiple or Duplicate Submission: Manuscripts submitted simultaneously to another journal or previously published in any form are not acceptable.
* Copyright: Upon acceptance, authors are required to submit a signed Copyright Declaration and Author Undertaking Form confirming the originality of the work and granting publication rights to TRBJMR.
* Licensing: Unless otherwise specified, published articles are made available under an Open Access license, allowing readers to access, read, download, and cite the work with proper attribution to the original authors and the journal.
* Peer Review: Every eligible manuscript undergoes a fair, confidential, and unbiased double-blind peer-review process conducted by qualified subject experts.
* Conflict of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the publication process.
* Corrections and Retractions: If significant errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retract the article in accordance with accepted publishing standards.
* Editorial Independence: Editorial decisions are based solely on the scholarly merit, originality, relevance, and ethical compliance of the submitted manuscript, without discrimination based on nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, or personal beliefs.
* Ethical Compliance: Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable institutional and national ethical guidelines, and authors should provide evidence of ethical approval where required.
